Structural Packaging Designer – Rigid Box Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Designer with a strong background in structural design and print production specifically for high‑end rigid boxes (gift boxes, luxury packaging, setup boxes). You will be responsible for taking packaging concepts from structural dielines to print‑ready production files and beautiful 3D mockups.

Key responsibilities

• Create accurate, production‑ready rigid box dielines (including lid‑and‑base, magnetic closure, or drawer styles) taking material thicknesses into account.
• Prepare flawless, multi‑layered artwork files for advanced finishes: hot foil, spot UV, lamination, and textured/embossed papers.
• Generate realistic 3D digital mockups for client presentations and internal approval.
• Collaborate with manufacturing partners to ensure design feasibility and troubleshoot production issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in structural packaging design (portfolio must showcase real or hyper‑realistic rigid box projects).
• Complete understanding of paperboard grades, calipers, wrapping techniques, and finishing processes.

Required skills

• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Experience with 3D rendering software (Esko, Blender, Cinema 4D, or similar) is highly preferred.
