Strategy, Research & Impact Analyst

About the role

This Analyst position advances high-caliber research, strategic analysis and impact assessment in food systems, nutrition and public health. It produces evidence-driven insights that guide strategic planning, programme design, policy advocacy and product innovation, while also helping craft proposals and build collaboration across teams.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out desk research and literature reviews on food systems, nutrition, public health and related themes
• Process and interpret qualitative and quantitative data, summarising findings in research reports and evidence summaries
• Turn research into strategic recommendations and actionable insights
• Help write strategy documents, programme frameworks and concept notes
• Design and roll out Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) frameworks and evaluate monitoring data
• Aid product development and oversee digital platforms such as Food CapX and the PFS Ecosystem Marketplace, working with product managers and developers
• Create briefing notes, stakeholder profiles and background research materials
• Assist with presentations, proposals and technical documentation, and draft reports, policy briefs, proposals, blog posts and analytical publications
• Contribute to knowledge products and coordinate inputs from cross-functional groups

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Public Health, Food Policy, Development Studies, Economics or a closely related field
• 0-2 years of experience in research, policy analysis, consulting, development or similar sectors
• Background in qualitative and/or quantitative research methods
• Strong writing, synthesis and communication skills, including report writing and public presentations
• Ability to work autonomously, collaborate in teams and manage competing priorities
