Storeman – Warehouse Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Storeman to join our warehouse team, reporting to the Customer Service Manager. The role involves handling daily inbound and outbound activities, ensuring accurate inventory control and safe movement of goods within the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, sort and store incoming commodities using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and allocate them to the correct bins.
• Operate hand pallet jacks and certified forklifts to move, stack and retrieve pallets and items as directed.
• Prepare pick slips, pick and stage stock for dispatch while adhering to SOPs and good warehouse practice.
• Maintain accurate documentation, conduct regular stock counts and assist with cycle‑count activities.
• Report discrepancies within 24 hours and support the inventory team in variance resolution.
• Ensure warehouse safety, cleanliness and protection of company assets in line with HSE policies.
• Communicate effectively with Customer Service Officers and participate in TQS and HSE meetings.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Customer Service Manager to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• SSCE or O’ Level qualification.
• 1–2 years of experience in warehouse operations.
• Certified forklift operator (forklift licence required).
• Ability to work under pressure, show initiative and collaborate with a team.

Required skills

• Warehouse Management System (WMS) usage.
• Material Handling Equipment operation – hand pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Batch management and inventory control.
• Basic customer service handling.
