Storekeeper

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Storekeeper to join our hospitality team in Owerri. You will be responsible for managing food and supply inventories, ensuring that the kitchen and other departments receive the right items at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, record, and store food products, ingredients, and other supplies.
• Issue stock to the kitchen and other departments based on approved requests while maintaining accurate records.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic store, including proper management of cold storage.
• Update inventory records using Excel or inventory management software and support regular stock reconciliation.

Required profile

• Minimum OND certificate.
• At least 1 year of relevant storekeeping experience in a food business, restaurant, or kitchen.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Willingness to work around food products and handle physical stock.
• Based in or willing to work in Owerri, Imo State.
