Store Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Store Supervisor to manage the daily operations of our Lagos shop. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth opening, running, and closing of the store while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Open, operate and close the shop on a daily basis.
• Record all stock movements, including received, sold, transferred, damaged or returned items.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile them with inventory records.
• Monitor stock levels, recommend restocking and manage expiry dates to prioritize older stock.
• Maintain accurate pricing, product labels and shelf displays.
• Reconcile daily sales, cash, bank transfers and POS transactions.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports on sales, stock levels, expenses and discrepancies.
• Investigate and report stock shortages, damaged products and unusual transactions.
• Supervise shop attendants and ensure assigned duties are completed.
• Keep the shop, storage areas, shelves and freezers clean and well‑organized.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification of an OND.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar supervisory role.
• Ability to supervise staff and ensure duties are completed.
• Capability to handle cash, bank transfers and POS reconciliations.
• Strong attention to inventory accuracy and expiry management.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
