State Sales Supervisor

About the role

The State Sales Supervisor will lead sales activities for renewable energy solutions across the state, based in Yola with a hybrid work arrangement. This full‑time position combines on‑site client engagement with remote coordination to drive revenue growth for solar home systems and other clean‑energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and mentor daily field activities of Sales Officers and Field Agents within the assigned territory.
• Execute strategic local sales plans to achieve monthly and quarterly Solar Home System (SHS) sales targets.
• Identify new commercial opportunities, onboard regional distributors/dealers, and build relationships with community leaders and local stakeholders.
• Conduct regular hands‑on field visits to monitor activities, provide coaching and enforce company standards.
• Ensure proper customer onboarding and compliance with lease‑to‑own (PAYGO) registration processes, monitor repayment performance and support collection efforts.
• Coordinate state‑level marketing initiatives, deliver product presentations, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, prepare performance reports and collaborate with operations and technical teams to align sales with project delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading sales teams in a field‑based environment.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy products, especially solar home systems.
• Ability to manage distributor relationships and drive market expansion.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.
