State Manager – Lagos (Business Acquisition)

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated State Manager to lead business acquisition and onboarding across Lagos. You will be the face of Nigeria Business Finder in the state, driving SME and corporate registrations on our platform.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, engage and onboard businesses across all sectors in Lagos.
• Develop and execute state‑level growth strategies to boost platform registrations.
• Build relationships with local business clusters, associations and trade groups.
• Conduct field visits, calls, emails and attend networking events to generate leads.
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly registration targets.
• Organise activation campaigns, awareness drives and promotional events.
• Provide onboarding support ensuring accurate and complete business listings.
• Monitor competitor activity and deliver market insights to the central team.
• Submit regular performance reports with acquisition metrics and feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–5 years of experience in sales, business development or field marketing.
• Strong knowledge of Lagos’s commercial hubs and business environment.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding acquisition targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage a territory effectively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems and basic digital tools.
