Staff Software Engineer – AI-Native Development & Agent Orchestration

About the role

IgniteTech is rebuilding its engineering model around AI agents. As a Staff Software Engineer you will shape the core systems that let autonomous agents develop, test, and ship enterprise‑grade software for Fortune 100 customers.

Key responsibilities

• Architect agent‑ready platforms, defining context, tooling, evaluation harnesses and guardrails.
• Orchestrate fleets of parallel agents, monitor output against quality standards, and improve underlying capabilities when failures occur.
• Deliver production features rapidly while maintaining reliability and brand reputation.
• Package improvements (rules, skills, context files, eval frameworks) for team‑wide benefit.
• Lead senior engineers, scope work, review architecture and pull requests, and set technical direction for AI‑native development.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full‑stack web engineering with deep front‑end and back‑end expertise.
• Proven experience as a tech lead managing senior and mid‑level engineers.
• AI‑native operating style: building prompts, context, rules, and evaluation frameworks that enable autonomous agents.
• Fluency with leading agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or equivalents.
