Staff Product Designer

About the role

Moniepoint is looking for a senior individual contributor who will drive design excellence and strategic impact across multiple product teams. You will lead through craft mastery, strategic thinking, and influence without direct people management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design strategy for major product areas or cross‑product initiatives.
• Drive complex, ambiguous projects from discovery through launch across several teams.
• Set design standards, patterns, and best practices that others follow.
• Identify and solve systemic design problems across products.
• Partner with senior product and engineering leadership on strategy.
• Mentor senior and mid‑level designers informally.
• Contribute to design system strategy and evolution.

Required profile

• Portfolio showing leadership and influence across multiple teams or products.
• Proven track record of solving complex, ambiguous problems.
• Deep expertise in visual design, interaction design, and systems thinking.
• Strong research skills and ability to validate decisions with evidence.
• Experience mentoring and developing other designers.
