Solutions Architect – Cloud Solutions

About the role

Amazon Web Services is seeking a senior Solutions Architect to design and deliver scalable, secure, and cost‑effective cloud solutions for our customers in Nigeria. You will act as the bridge between business leaders and technical teams, ensuring cloud architectures align with long‑term growth strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Design multi‑tier cloud architectures using core AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and VPC.
• Align solutions with the AWS Well‑Architected Framework pillars: operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, cost optimization, and sustainability.
• Consult directly with stakeholders to translate business requirements into cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and lead migration strategies for legacy systems to modern AWS environments.
• Implement security and compliance controls using least‑privilege IAM, data encryption, and network segmentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, security, networking, or data analytics.
• At least 2 years of design, implementation, or consulting experience for applications and infrastructure.
• 5 years of IT development or consulting experience in software or Internet industries.
• Senior‑level expertise with a strong focus on AWS services.
