Software Quality Assurance Tester

About the role

Snapnet Limited is seeking a motivated Software Quality Assurance Tester to join its growing team in Lagos. You will play a key part in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of both web and mobile applications, contributing to a seamless user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute detailed test plans, cases and scripts for web and mobile platforms.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance and basic security testing.
• Log, track and manage defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers and UI/UX designers in agile sprints.
• Participate in daily stand‑ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Support test automation initiatives and help improve overall QA coverage.
• Conduct basic vulnerability assessments and VAPT checks as part of release cycles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC and testing best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail.
