Software Engineering Trainee – Onsite Program

About the role

We are seeking highly motivated fresh graduates or early‑career talent to join our engineering team as Software Engineering Trainees. The programme offers hands‑on experience in building scalable software, mentorship from senior engineers, and structured learning in a fast‑moving, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, testing and deployment of scalable software solutions.
• Assist senior engineers in understanding system architecture and implementation details.
• Participate in debugging, performance tuning and continuous improvement of existing applications.
• Engage in daily stand‑ups, technical reviews and team discussions.
• Support ongoing product enhancements and feature development.

Required profile

• First Class or Second Class Upper degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Fresh graduate or NYSC candidate with demonstrable coding experience from projects, internships or personal work.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, good communication skills and a willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C# or Go.
• Basic understanding of software development principles and application architecture.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
