Software Engineering Trainee – Onsite

About the role

We are seeking highly motivated fresh graduates or early‑career talent to join our engineering team as a Software Engineering Trainee. The position is fully onsite and offers a structured learning environment where you will work on real product development under the guidance of senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing, building, testing and deploying scalable software applications.
• Contribute code to existing systems and help improve performance and reliability.
• Participate in debugging, performance tuning and continuous improvement activities.
• Engage in daily stand‑ups, technical reviews and team discussions.
• Support ongoing product enhancements and feature development.

Required profile

• First Class or Second Class Upper (2:1) degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Open to fresh graduates and NYSC candidates.
• Demonstrable coding experience through academic projects, internships, freelance work or personal builds.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving ability and good communication skills.
• Willingness to learn, adapt and grow in a structured engineering environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C# or Go.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
