Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our team in Lagos. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable full‑stack applications that meet business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the design and creation of secure, scalable software solutions.
• Write clean, functional code for both front‑end and back‑end, and fix bugs.
• Design client‑side and server‑side architecture to ensure speed and scalability.
• Develop and optimise database schemas and queries.
• Build responsive REST APIs and perform unit and integration testing.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software based on user feedback.
• Implement security and data‑protection settings.
• Produce technical documentation and conduct code reviews.
• Collaborate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand‑ups and retrospectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of proven experience as a Full‑Stack Developer with a strong portfolio.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Team‑player attitude with a focus on visual design and utility.

• Front‑end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React, Vue, jQuery, LESS.
• Back‑end: C#.NET, Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java.
• Databases & caching: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Memcached, Varnish.
• Frameworks: Django, ExpressJS.
• Web servers: Nginx, Apache.
