Software Engineer (Hybrid, Lagos)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer with at least three years of verifiable practical experience to join our fast‑growing start‑up. The position is hybrid – remote for the first 12‑18 months and then office‑based in Lagos.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web and mobile applications using PHP, Java, JavaScript, Python or React.
• Integrate REST APIs and manage database interactions (SQL/MySQL, cloud databases).

Required profile

• Degree holder in Computer or Software Engineering (1st class or 2:1) from a reputable Nigerian university.
• Completed NYSC and currently based in Lagos State.

Required skills

• Programming: PHP, Java, JavaScript, Python, React.
• API integration, SEO, web and mobile app development.
• Cloud platforms: Amazon, Google, IBM, Microsoft (Azure 104 & 305 preferred).
• Database: SQL, MySQL, database API, data management, cloud database skills.

• Salary N150,000‑N200,000 per month, with potential increase to N250,000 after 18 months.
