Head of Engineering, Rewards

About the role

Moniepoint is building a full‑stack rewards, retention and personalisation platform for its 23 million users. As Head of Engineering, Rewards you will own the platform end‑to‑end, improve the existing cashback product and scale the engineering organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical strategy, architecture and roadmap for the Rewards platform.
• Improve performance, reliability and depth of the current cashback product.
• Grow the team from nine engineers to multiple product units (25+ people), hiring engineers and Engineering Managers.
• Establish an experimentation culture with A/B testing, cohort analysis and rapid learning cycles.
• Collaborate with Growth, Sales and Marketing to translate acquisition and retention goals into engineering initiatives.
• Own the customer‑facing experience across mobile and web, ensuring fast and reliable reward delivery.

Required profile

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years leading engineering teams through growth phases.
• Proven track record building and shipping direct‑to‑consumer products at scale.
• Hands‑on technical leader who still writes code and mentors engineers.
• Experience managing managers and scaling engineering organisations.
