Software Engineer, Full Stack

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Lagos team. You will work both independently and within Agile squads to design, develop, test and deliver cloud‑based solutions that empower our financial products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full‑stack applications using JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, Python, Go and related technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to create robust, user‑focused experiences.
• Implement and manage databases (open‑source RDBMS and NoSQL) and container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Utilize AWS services to build scalable, secure cloud solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration pipelines.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging tech trends and share knowledge across teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience (internships do not count).
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go.
• Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• AWS cloud platform (or comparable services).
• Experience with open‑source RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
• Agile development practices.
