Software Developer (NYSC)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated NYSC Corp member with a background in software development to join our on‑site team in Lagos. The role offers hands‑on experience building internal web and mobile applications while working closely with senior developers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining internal web and mobile applications.
• Support the development team in debugging and testing software.
• Collaborate with team members to manage project deliverables.
• Write clean, scalable code following best practices.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas.

Required profile

• Current NYSC member deployed or serving in Lagos.
• Resides within or near Sangotedo, Chevron, Lekki, or Ajah, or has reliable accommodation in these areas.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• At least one year of software development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as JavaScript, Python or PHP.
• Experience building web‑based applications.
• Good understanding of databases and API integration.
• Familiarity with frameworks like React, Laravel, Django or Flutter (advantage).
