Social Media Manager

About the role

The Social Media Manager will lead the planning, creation and publishing of engaging content across Neptune Microfinance Bank’s social channels. Based in Ikeja, this full‑time position aims to boost brand awareness and drive customer interaction for the bank’s financial products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a content calendar for all social media platforms, ensuring consistent brand voice.
• Monitor comments, messages and mentions, responding promptly in line with the bank’s communication standards.
• Analyse performance metrics using social media analytics tools, optimise campaigns and report insights to marketing and product teams.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support promotions, product launches and customer‑education initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
• Proven experience managing social media for a brand, preferably within financial services.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with social media analytics tools for performance tracking.
• Basic SEO knowledge to enhance content discoverability.
• Content creation abilities including copywriting, basic graphic design and multimedia formats (images, short videos, infographics).
• Campaign execution and data‑driven decision‑making.
