Social Media Manager

About the role

We are looking for a creative Social Media Manager to join Aurora Consult Ltd in Ibadan. You will work closely with the founder and a content creator who already has a 120K+ engaged audience, shaping the brand’s presence on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Key responsibilities

• Film, edit, and publish short‑form videos (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) and longer YouTube content.
• Plan, execute, and optimise paid social media advertising campaigns.
• Support the development of content strategy across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Maintain the content calendar and ensure consistent, high‑quality posting.
• Monitor analytics, adjust tactics based on performance data, and stay ahead of platform trends.
• Own projects from concept to publication with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate daily priorities directly with the founder/brand owner.
• Handle ad‑hoc content and administrative tasks as needed.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of proven experience managing social media accounts with measurable growth.
• Advanced video‑editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar).
• Hands‑on experience running paid ads on Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok and YouTube algorithms.
• Comfortable filming both on‑location and in‑studio.
• Portfolio or verifiable examples of past content/campaigns (mandatory).
• Willingness to work from the Ibadan office three days a week.
