Communications Manager – Telecom (Full‑time)

About the role

As Communications Manager for CANAL+ Telecom Nigeria, you will shape and execute the marketing and communication strategy for the Ibadan operation and support the upcoming Lagos launch. You will work closely with senior management to align campaigns with business objectives and enhance brand visibility across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with management to define marketing objectives and develop comprehensive strategies.
• Plan, execute and optimise multi‑channel campaigns for lead generation, acquisition and retention.
• Oversee creation of engaging content for website, social media, email and print, working with internal teams and local agencies.
• Manage digital marketing initiatives including SEO, SEM, PPC, email marketing and social media advertising.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs and competitive landscape.
• Develop and implement public‑relations strategies, handle media inquiries and issue press releases.
• Organise marketing events, trade shows and conferences to promote brand awareness.
• Prepare and control marketing budgets, issue tenders and evaluate service provider offers.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar communications or marketing role.
• Proven ability to drive engagement and conversion.
• Analytical, customer‑oriented and results‑driven mindset.
• Strong team‑leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities and deliver on time.
