About the role
A full-time Site Reliability Engineer position based in Lekki, Lagos, focused on keeping client platforms fast and available and making incidents less likely to recur. The role works remotely from Lagos, anywhere in Nigeria or beyond, with core hours overlapping the clients.
Key responsibilities
- Define SLOs with clients and build the monitoring and alerting that measures them
- Run incident response, write blameless post-mortems and follow fixes through
- Find and remove toil by automating repetitive work
- Work with product teams on capacity, performance and release safety
Required profile
- Hands-on experience running production systems and being on call for them
- Calm, clear communication during an outage
Required skills
- Prometheus, Grafana or a comparable observability stack
- Kubernetes and at least one major cloud provider
