About the role

Micdee Design Limited is seeking a Site Manager to oversee construction and interior fit‑out activities at its Marina site in Port Harcourt. The role involves coordinating daily site operations, ensuring milestones are met, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily site activities and ensure project milestones are achieved according to approved schedules.
• Supervise site officers, artisans, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain productivity and quality delivery.
• Coordinate site logistics, material deployment, equipment usage, and workforce allocation.
• Monitor construction, fit‑out, furniture installation, and finishing activities for compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Liaise with project managers and the construction lead, attend site meetings and provide progress updates.
• Escalate project risks, delays, and resource constraints appropriately.
• Prepare daily and weekly site progress reports and maintain accurate records of manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Support project documentation, handover processes, and close‑out activities.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience managing construction, interior fit‑out, or design implementation projects.
• Strong understanding of site operations, project execution, and quality management.
• Proficiency in preparing project reports and maintaining construction documentation.
