Site Finishing Foreman – Nigeria

About the role

The Site Finishing Foreman supervises and coordinates all finishing works on a construction site, ensuring activities meet approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily finishing activities and workers on site.
• Coordinate plastering, painting, tiling, flooring, ceilings, carpentry, doors, joinery, waterproofing, and other architectural finishes.
• Allocate tasks to workers and subcontractors based on project priorities.
• Monitor productivity and ensure work is completed within the planned schedule.
• Inspect completed and ongoing finishing works to verify quality standards.
• Coordinate with the Site Engineer on technical issues and adjustments.
• Ensure materials are installed according to manufacturer recommendations and project specifications.
• Monitor material availability and request required tools and supplies.
• Report site issues, delays, and material shortages to the Site Engineer or Project Manager.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in construction finishing works, preferably in residential, commercial, hospitality, or high‑end projects.
• Strong practical knowledge of finishing materials and techniques.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Experience supervising workers and subcontractors.
