Site Engineer

About the role

The Site Engineer will oversee daily construction activities at our Marina site in Abuja, ensuring projects are executed according to drawings, specifications, and safety standards. This role involves close coordination with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to deliver quality results on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily site operations and construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project personnel.
• Monitor project progress and adherence to timelines.
• Conduct quality inspections and enforce quality standards.
• Maintain strict health and safety compliance.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project reports.
• Monitor material usage and prevent wastage.
• Identify project risks and propose corrective actions.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical recommendations.
• Verify completed work before approvals and payments.
• Document all site activities accurately.
• Maintain positive client and stakeholder relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Required profile

• Minimum B.Sc. degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar site engineering role.
