Shipbroker – Offshore Support Vessels

About the role

Joseph Vessels Solution (JVS) is seeking an experienced Shipbroker to drive charter business for offshore support vessels. You will identify opportunities, build relationships, negotiate contracts and close deals across key markets such as Nigeria, the UAE and the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Source and secure charter opportunities for Platform Supply Vessels (PSV), Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessels (AHTS), Multi‑Purpose Support Vessels (MPSV) and Security Escort Vessels (SEV).
• Develop and maintain relationships with charterers, vessel owners, offshore operators, procurement teams and project managers.
• Generate new business through networking, LinkedIn, email, phone outreach and market intelligence.
• Negotiate charter rates and commercial agreements.
• Monitor offshore projects, tenders, drilling campaigns and vessel demand to keep the sales pipeline healthy.
• Achieve agreed business‑development targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in offshore shipbroking, vessel chartering, maritime business development, offshore commercial operations or marine logistics sales.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities with strong commercial awareness.
• Ability to work independently, target‑driven and proactive.
• Existing industry relationships are a strong advantage.
• Experience in the Nigerian or UAE offshore market is highly desirable.
