Service Specialist – Intelligent Completion (SmartWell)

About the role

We are seeking a Service Specialist to lead the installation and commissioning of SmartWell® intelligent completion systems at well sites. The role combines technical expertise, customer interaction, and on‑site leadership to ensure successful deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee installation of SmartWell® completions, acting as shift lead and supervising up to five crew members.
• Collaborate with engineering, applications engineering and service coordinators to develop and execute deployment and testing procedures.
• Consult with customers on SmartWell® equipment, promote strong customer relations and ensure satisfaction.
• Perform system integration and functional tests, troubleshoot software, electrical, communications and completion issues.
• Review job packets, confirm correct equipment and processes, and commission specialized SmartWell® equipment.
• Maintain service equipment, enforce safety regulations, conduct HSE activities and complete all required paperwork.
• Train service operators, coordinate with third parties, and participate in post‑job reviews.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field service or wellsite operations within the oil and gas industry.
• Ability to supervise a small crew and act as a shift lead.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and customer service.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License may be required based on local needs.
