SEO Intern (Remote)

About the role

Projexa Hub, a Pan-African learning and career development company, is strengthening its digital presence and is looking for an SEO Intern for a short-term, remote internship from October to 5 January 2027. The intern works with the technical, content, design and marketing teams on real projects, including improving the company's website. This is an unpaid internship.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research relevant to the company's audience, programmes and services
• Support on-page SEO optimisation and review page titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs and content structure
• Work with the content team to improve website copy for search visibility
• Run basic SEO audits, support website indexing and monitor performance metrics
• Assist with Google Search Console and analytics tools, and report basic technical SEO issues
• Research competitors and the search landscape, and document SEO activities and recommendations
• Collaborate with UI/UX, brand, technical and marketing teams so SEO is considered during website development

Required profile

• Basic to intermediate understanding of SEO, including keyword research, search intent and on-page SEO
• Some understanding of technical SEO
• Good research, analytical and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team and meet agreed deadlines
• Willingness to learn, receive feedback and take responsibility; previous professional SEO experience is not compulsory but learning or practice must be shown
• Commitment until 31 December 2026
