Senior Technical Officer

About the role

MOPO is seeking a Senior Technical Officer to lead the technical operation and maintenance of its battery systems and solar charging hubs in Abeokuta. This full‑time, on‑site position involves diagnosing issues, supporting local agents, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical problems with battery systems and solar equipment.
• Provide advanced technical support to local agents and assist customer service with complex inquiries.
• Coordinate routine inspections, schedule equipment servicing, and maintain accurate technical records.
• Train junior technical staff and share best practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve system performance and reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, especially with data interpretation.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with agents, internal teams, and customers.
• Ability to work on‑site in Abeokuta, manage field operations and travel locally.
• Willingness to relocate to or already be based in Abeokuta.
