Senior Subsea Reservoir Evaluation Engineer – Port Harcourt

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Subsea Reservoir Evaluation Engineer to act as the primary technical liaison between our local Halliburton team, the client, and Optime HQ in Norway. Based in Port Harcourt, you will translate operational requirements into actionable engineering inputs and ensure seamless information flow throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main technical point of contact for local and offshore teams.
• Capture and convert customer requirements into clear inputs for the Optime engineering team.
• Integrate information into the V‑model development process from requirements to design reviews.
• Provide ongoing technical support and maintain accurate records of exchanges, decisions, and open items.
• Participate in technical and design review meetings, eFAT, SIT, and commissioning activities.
• Act as interim Project Manager during the initial phase, coordinating milestones and stakeholder alignment.

Required profile

• Engineering diploma in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, or Control & Automation.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in subsea operations or engineering.
• Experience with well completion, RLWI, and downhole operations is a plus.
• Strong ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Proven project management capability and excellent communication skills.
• Advanced English proficiency.
