Senior Software Engineer – AI-Augmented Development

About the role

IgniteTech is looking for a senior full‑stack engineer to push the boundaries of AI‑driven software delivery. You will own end‑to‑end production features while architecting the closed‑loop workflows that let autonomous AI agents write, test, and verify code at enterprise quality.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement agent‑centric workflows, including context definition, guardrails, and feedback loops.
• Develop and ship full‑stack features using React, Java, GraphQL and containerised services.
• Package and share reusable AI‑agent patterns so the entire engineering team benefits.
• Maintain a strict quality bar through automated testing, type‑checking and regression safeguards.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote AI‑native development practices.
• Continuously evaluate emerging AI models and tooling to keep the platform cutting‑edge.

Required profile

• 4+ years of production experience building Java back‑ends and React front‑ends.
• Proven expertise using agentic AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf) to create repeatable workflows.
• Strong habit of embedding automated verification (tests, build validation, browser checks) into development pipelines.
• Product‑first mindset with the ability to deliver polished features without exhaustive specifications.
• Self‑starter attitude capable of driving features from specification through release without hand‑offs.
