Senior SOC Analyst

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior SOC Analyst to join our security operations team in Lagos. You will be responsible for tailoring our SIEM platform, monitoring security controls, and driving incident response across both on‑premise and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Customize the SIEM solution to align with our unique infrastructure and business needs.
• Monitor performance of security systems, including IAM, endpoint, and network monitoring.
• Analyze security events across on‑premise and cloud environments and produce executive‑level dashboards.
• Identify vulnerabilities, detect incidents, conduct forensic investigations, and manage patching cycles.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to remediate threats and improve security posture.
• Maintain metrics that reflect the organization’s security health and stay updated on threat intelligence feeds.
• Work with other IT units to enforce security best practices and process improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Computer Science, IT, or a related cybersecurity field.
• At least 6 years of cybersecurity experience, including 4+ years as a SOC Analyst.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CASP+, CEH, GCIH, GCIA, or OSCP.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks like NIST, PCI, and ISO 27001.

• Windows, Unix and Linux operating systems.
• SIEM (ArcSight) and EDR tools (Falcon, CrowdStrike).
• Packet analysis, HIPS/NIPS, and network monitoring tools.
• ServiceNow ticketing and web security technologies.
