Senior Sales Development Manager

About the role

BashleeNG is seeking a Senior Sales Development Manager to drive new business across construction, engineering, real estate, industrial and facility‑management sectors in Nigeria. You will lead the end‑to‑end business development cycle, from prospecting to contract award and project hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new opportunities in MEP, HVAC, fire protection, water treatment, refrigeration and facility‑maintenance services.
• Build and maintain relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, project owners and facility managers.
• Lead prospecting, negotiation, proposal preparation, bid submission and contract finalisation.
• Coordinate with estimating, engineering, procurement and project teams to deliver competitive technical solutions.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and generate regular business development reports.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and upcoming projects to uncover strategic opportunities.
• Support contract negotiations, approvals, purchase orders and payment follow‑up.
• Achieve and exceed revenue and business development targets.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in business development, sales or engineering within construction, MEP, infrastructure or facility‑management.
• Strong knowledge of the Nigerian construction and engineering market.
• Proven track record of winning high‑value projects.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Highly organised, target‑driven and able to work independently.
