Entry-Level Assistant Surveyor

About the role

OTIC Surveys is seeking a motivated, technology‑driven Assistant Surveyor to join its Lagos team. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on exposure to real surveying projects, field work and modern geospatial tools.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with field surveying and site measurements.
• Support the use of GNSS/RTK receivers, Total Stations and other surveying equipment.
• Participate in topographic, engineering, land and route survey projects.
• Collect and document field data.
• Help process survey data and prepare drawings.
• Contribute to mapping, GIS and other geospatial activities.

Required profile

• Willingness to learn and grow in a technical profession.
• Interest in technology and outdoor fieldwork.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Basic computer skills.

Required skills

• Operation of GNSS/RTK receivers.
• Use of Total Stations and other surveying equipment.
• Survey data collection techniques.
• GIS and mapping tools.
