Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Rendeavour is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its Nigerian portfolio of large‑scale urban development and infrastructure projects. This full‑time, on‑site position will support cost management across master‑planned city initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and related contract documents.
• Develop cost plans, budgets and cost reports, monitoring expenditures against approved forecasts.
• Evaluate tenders, negotiate contracts and manage variations and claims in collaboration with project managers, engineers and contractors.
• Support value‑engineering initiatives, risk assessments and financial controls.
• Strengthen internal cost‑management processes and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or a related discipline.
• Professional certification or membership (e.g., RICS, NIQS) is an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in urban development, real estate or infrastructure projects, preferably in Africa.
• Strong analytical, numerical and reporting abilities with high attention to detail.
