Senior Project Manager – Tech Event

About the role

Benin Tech Fest is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of one of the fastest‑growing tech ecosystem events in Edo State. You will be responsible for coordinating cross‑functional teams, managing timelines, and ensuring smooth event operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate teams and departments to align on event goals.
• Manage event timelines, milestones, and overall execution.
• Oversee operations and logistics, including venue setup and on‑site coordination.
• Maintain regular follow‑up with partners, sponsors, and community stakeholders.
• Ensure clear communication across all teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support day‑of event coordination and post‑event reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong business acumen in project planning and management.
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to lead teams.
• Quick problem‑solver with the ability to work under pressure.
• Understanding of technology, startups, communities, and events.
