Senior Product Manager – Prediction Market Platform

About the role

Bayse Markets is building Africa’s largest prediction market and derivatives exchange. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own a core surface of the platform, guiding the trading experience, settlement, liquidity, and compliance mechanics from concept to launch.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the product roadmap for the assigned area, prioritising features against regulatory, liquidity and engineering constraints.
• Write clear specifications and decision documents that enable design and engineering teams to execute without ambiguity.
• Conduct user discovery through interviews, data analysis and market research, translating insights into a prioritized backlog.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, quant, and operations to ship features and iterate based on performance metrics.
• Measure outcomes such as trading volume, liquidity depth, user retention and trust, and adjust strategy accordingly.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of product management experience, preferably in fintech or trading platforms.
• Proven ability to manage complex products end‑to‑end in a fast‑moving, data‑driven environment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory, liquidity and compliance considerations in financial products.
• Excellent communication skills to align cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
