Senior Product Designer – Design System

About the role

Moniepoint is seeking a Senior Product Designer focused on building and evolving its design system. You will create a scalable UI ecosystem that supports multiple products, teams, and platforms, ensuring visual consistency and accessibility across the company’s digital experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high standards for layout, typography, colour, spacing, and visual hierarchy across all reusable components.
• Design, build, and manage robust component libraries (buttons, inputs, cards, navigation, forms, tables, etc.) that scale across products.
• Define interaction behaviours and motion design, including states such as hover, focus, disabled, loading, and mobile gestures.
• Structure and maintain design tokens to keep design and code in sync.
• Organise complex variants and properties within Figma to enable rapid, accurate design work.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams on Web, React, Flutter, Android, and iOS/Native environments to translate designs into clean, reusable code.
• Create comprehensive usage guidelines and documentation for component adoption and governance.

Required profile

• Proven track record of building and scaling production‑ready design systems.
• Deep understanding of cross‑platform constraints for Web, iOS, and Android.
• Strong eye for visual detail and consistency.
• Ability to work autonomously while partnering with multidisciplinary teams.
