Senior Product Designer – Design System

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer specialized in Design Systems to shape the visual foundation of Moniepoint’s suite of financial products. You will own the creation and evolution of reusable UI components, ensuring consistency across web and mobile platforms while collaborating closely with engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high‑quality standards for layout, typography, colour, spacing, and visual hierarchy across all reusable elements.
• Design, build, and scale component libraries (buttons, inputs, cards, navigation, forms, tables, etc.) that serve multiple products.
• Define interaction behaviours and motion states such as hover, focus, disabled, loading, and mobile gestures.
• Structure and manage design tokens (colours, spacing, typography, border‑radius, shadows) to bridge design tools and code.
• Organise complex variants and properties within Figma to enable rapid design delivery.
• Partner with engineering to translate designs into clean, reusable code for Web (React), Flutter, Android and iOS native environments.
• Produce comprehensive documentation and usage guidelines for the design system.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing at a system level for complex, multi‑product platforms.
• Strong eye for visual detail and consistency.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with product, engineering and leadership teams.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Figma.
• Hands‑on knowledge of React, Flutter, Android and iOS development environments.
• Experience creating and managing design tokens and component libraries.
