Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven Senior Procurement Officer to lead procurement activities, manage supplier relationships and negotiate favourable commercial terms. The role ensures timely acquisition of quality goods and services while maintaining cost effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement plans, coordinate sourcing, evaluation and acquisition of goods and services within budget and timelines.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard reliable suppliers, negotiate pricing, payment terms and contractual conditions, and monitor performance against service levels.
• Conduct market intelligence, lead competitive bidding, analyse expenditure and recommend cost‑saving strategies.
• Coordinate with internal teams to forecast demand, manage inventory and ensure timely delivery of procured items.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies, manage procurement records and support internal audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement or supply chain experience with proven negotiation and strategic sourcing expertise.
• Professional certification such as CIPS is an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking, commercial judgement and ability to manage multiple priorities.
