Senior Operations Associate

About the role

Chowdeck is an on‑demand delivery platform operating across Africa. The Senior Operations Associate will own daily store operations, ensuring inventory readiness, timely order fulfillment and smooth coordination among vendors, riders and agents.

Key responsibilities

• Own daily store operations, meeting readiness and order‑fulfillment SLAs.
• Coordinate stock runs, SKU availability and handle escalations.
• Manage relationships with local suppliers and distributors.
• Distribute vendor partner assets and rider‑facing materials.
• Supervise store agents and inventory associates, ensuring SOP adherence and addressing performance gaps.
• Lead new store setup and expansion to guarantee go‑live readiness.
• Track daily metrics such as order volume, out‑of‑stock incidents and SLA breaches, escalating key issues.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in operations, logistics, supply‑chain or field execution.
• Proven experience managing vendors or suppliers on the ground.
• Comfortable working with data using tools like Google Sheets and dashboards.
• Strong follow‑through, closing loops and holding people accountable.
• Lagos‑based and able to perform field work.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and resilience under pressure.
