Senior Manager – Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Manager to join its Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS) practice. In this role you will provide strategic guidance on complex accounting, financial reporting and transaction structures for public and private capital‑market transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on technical accounting and financial reporting issues related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, carve‑outs and other transformational events.
• Lead due‑diligence and buy‑side/sell‑side advisory engagements, ensuring accurate and reliable information for investors and regulators.
• Develop business models and financial analyses to support transaction structuring and valuation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver integrated assurance, reporting and consulting services.
• Mentor and coach junior staff, fostering a high‑performing, inclusive team environment.
• Stay abreast of evolving accounting standards and capital‑market trends to provide forward‑looking advice.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) with several years of experience in capital‑markets or transaction advisory.
• Proven track record of managing complex, high‑value transactions for large corporates.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting findings to senior client leadership and boards.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including coaching and developing junior professionals.

Required skills

• Technical accounting expertise in IFRS/US GAAP.
• Advanced financial modelling and reporting skills.
