Senior Key Sales Account Manager

About the role

The Senior Key Sales Account Manager will lead the Fiber‑to‑the‑Home business line, managing and growing strategic accounts in Abuja. You will build long‑term relationships with key decision makers, identify sales opportunities, and drive revenue growth for Layer3’s network and security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing key accounts, ensuring regular contact and satisfaction.
• Identify new business opportunities and generate new client leads within the designated region.
• Meet and exceed annual sales targets for Fiber‑to‑the‑Home services.
• Create strategic account penetration plans based on purchasing processes and decision criteria.
• Analyze customer needs and propose appropriate product solutions.
• Lead new business pitches and oversee the onboarding of new clients.
• Prepare business plans for tender opportunities and negotiate contract terms.
• Maintain accurate client data and act as the primary interface between customers and internal teams.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer, Electrical, Electronics Engineering or Computer Science.
• 7‑10 years of field sales and account management experience with an ICT solutions provider.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a B2B environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Juniper Networks solutions.
• Familiarity with Blue Coat products.
• Experience with F5 technologies.
• Understanding of Cisco networking solutions.
• Exposure to VMware virtualization platforms.
