Senior IoT Systems Engineer (Embedded AI & React Native)

About the role

Joble is building AI‑native voice and web agents that extend into hardware‑connected experiences. We are looking for a senior engineer who can design embedded systems, develop React Native mobile interfaces, manage DevOps pipelines, and integrate AI/LLM capabilities across the stack.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test embedded hardware and firmware that connect to Joble’s AI platform.
• Create RF communication protocols and ensure reliable device connectivity.
• Write low‑level firmware in C/C++ for microcontrollers and implement OTA update mechanisms.
• Collaborate on PCB design, power‑efficiency, and signal‑integrity validation.
• Build and maintain React Native applications that display real‑time hardware data on iOS and Android.
• Manage Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, or RF links between mobile apps and devices.
• Own CI/CD pipelines for firmware and software, and oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and security best practices for connected services.
• Integrate AI/LLM inference into embedded and mobile components, creating intelligent workflows.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in electronics, RF, firmware, and embedded system development.
• Proven ability to deliver end‑to‑end hardware and software solutions.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and experience working in cross‑functional teams.
