Senior Fullstack Developer (HR Tech, DevOps & Vultr)

About the role

A fast-growing HR Tech company with a presence in the UK and Nigeria, which has built and launched several HR platforms, is expanding its product range. It is looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer with strong DevOps experience and hands-on expertise in Vultr cloud infrastructure, working closely with its existing engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable full-stack applications for HR and payroll platforms.
• Lead and manage infrastructure automation and deployment pipelines using DevOps best practices.
• Containerize and orchestrate services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and secure software delivery.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers and DevOps engineers.
• Integrate and optimize services on Vultr and AWS cloud environments.
• Take part in architectural planning, code reviews and technical mentorship.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Fullstack Developer.
• Hands-on DevOps experience, including CI/CD, containerization and infrastructure as code.
• Prior experience in HR Tech or Fintech.

• Frontend: Vue.js, React or similar JavaScript frameworks.
• Backend: Node.js, Python or Java.
• Cloud and containers: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Vultr.
• CI/CD and IaC: Terraform, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Databases: relational and NoSQL (e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
