Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Software Architecture & AI Product

About the role

VIISAUS is seeking a Senior Full‑Stack Engineer to design and deliver enterprise‑grade software products from concept to production. The role blends deep MERN‑stack expertise with architectural thinking and AI‑assisted development workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Translate product ideas and client requirements into scalable technical designs, including modules, services, APIs, data models and integration patterns.
• Create technical design artefacts such as C4 diagrams, sequence diagrams, data‑flow diagrams, API contracts and architecture decision records.
• Build full‑stack applications using MongoDB, Express.js or NestJS, React.js, Node.js and TypeScript.
• Design and implement dashboards, admin portals, workflow engines and other enterprise features.
• Support product discovery, scoping, estimation and early risk identification, leveraging AI tools for architecture exploration and code review.
• Ensure security, permissions, auditability and maintainability across all delivered solutions.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience building MERN‑stack applications.
• Strong background in software architecture, system design and API development.
• Experience with AI‑enabled product development and using AI tools responsibly.
• Ability to work independently and guide technical direction in a remote/hybrid environment.
