Senior Full Stack Engineer

About the role

This senior individual‑contributor position provides technical leadership through influence and engineering craftsmanship. You will guide the evolution of enterprise‑grade applications, oversee architectural integrity, and lead incremental refactoring of complex legacy codebases while integrating AI‑assisted development tools responsibly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical direction and engineering guidance across multiple product teams.
• Lead incremental refactoring of frontend (Angular) and backend (Spring Boot) systems to improve modularity, testability, and performance.
• Promote Extreme Programming practices such as test‑driven development, continuous integration, and pair programming.
• Review code for design quality, security, and operational reliability while mentoring engineers.
• Architect reusable frontend components and scalable backend services using modern framework patterns.
• Guide responsible implementation of AI‑assisted development tools to streamline coding, testing, and documentation.
• Evaluate technical trade‑offs between delivery speed and long‑term maintainability.

Required profile

• Extensive experience building and maintaining enterprise applications with Angular and Spring Boot.
• Proven track record of refactoring complex legacy systems and managing technical debt.
• Deep knowledge of software design principles, clean architecture, and domain modeling.
• Expertise in automated testing across frontend and backend layers, including unit, integration, and contract testing.
• Experience implementing XP practices such as TDD and CI in production environments.
• Demonstrated ability to influence technical stakeholders and mentor engineers without formal management duties.
