About the role
We are hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to lead the frontend development of our biggest product launch to date – the Expert Listing Feed, a real‑estate social network where agents, developers and owners share properties, videos and updates in real time.
Key responsibilities
- Design and own the architecture of a greenfield feed feature, including infinite scroll, photo/video uploads, stories, real‑time interactions and location‑based filtering.
- Ensure the feed is fast, responsive and works reliably on low‑bandwidth Nigerian networks.
Required profile
- 5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
- Experience building social feeds, infinite scroll or real‑time content systems.
- Strong understanding of web performance and low‑bandwidth optimisation.
- Experience with video and image upload, compression and playback.
- Mobile‑first, responsive design experience.
