MIS Specialist

About the role

The MIS Specialist supports data‑driven insights and performance tracking for Flutterwave's Physical Channels business unit, covering POS, agency banking and Pay‑With‑Bank‑Transfer. This entry‑level position works closely with senior analysts to turn raw field data into actionable reports and forecasts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports tracking KPIs such as total processing volume, gross revenue, active terminal percentage and average yield per terminal.
• Support month‑on‑month growth tracking and run‑rate forecasting for POS, agency banking and Pay‑With‑Bank‑Transfer channels.
• Analyse merchant portfolios, segment active, dormant and churned terminals and produce weekly “At‑Risk” merchant lists for field teams.
• Monitor transaction data across terminal software versions to identify feature regressions and ensure fee‑structure parity.
• Audit CRM and database records to maintain data integrity of merchant mapping, terminal IDs and sales assignments.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in MIS, business intelligence or data analytics, preferably in payments or fintech.
• Proven ability to build and maintain recurring reporting and dashboarding processes.
• Strong attention to data quality and governance, with experience auditing CRM or database systems.
• Eagerness to learn forecasting methods and support cross‑functional data needs.
