Senior Cisco Engineer

About the role

Leaders Network is seeking a Senior Cisco Engineer to design, implement and maintain enterprise‑grade network solutions across LAN, WAN, wireless, data‑center and cloud environments. The role involves leading complex projects, ensuring network performance and security, and mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy scalable network architectures for LAN, WAN, wireless, and data‑center environments.
• Conduct network assessments, audits, upgrades and technology refresh initiatives.
• Monitor network performance, capacity, availability and security, and resolve complex incidents.
• Lead deployment, migration, upgrade and transformation projects, including planning, testing and rollback strategies.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, project managers and technical teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Support data‑center technologies, cloud connectivity and hybrid networking solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, review designs and configurations, and mentor junior engineers.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, standards and operational procedures.
• Assist pre‑sales activities such as solution design, technical presentations and proposal development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in enterprise networking and infrastructure.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience managing Cisco networking technologies.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise‑scale networking projects in mission‑critical environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
